The main goal of Circular Summit is to bring the potential of the circular economy closer to motivated owners of micro, small, and medium sized enterprises in Slovakia. It is designed for those who aim to succeed by changing their mindset and gradually implementing new approaches and business models in practice.

More than 90% of businesses in Slovakia are micro and small enterprises. However, in terms of competitiveness and innovation adoption, we are currently falling behind not only the V4 countries but also much of the European Union.

Circular Slovakia

Circular Slovakia is a public–private platform and cluster that connects businesses, the public sector, research institutions, and NGOs with the goal of accelerating the transition to a circular and green Slovakia.

It is built on the belief that the circular economy is not only an environmental necessity, but also a key driver of economic competitiveness.

By connecting stakeholders, sharing know-how, and supporting collaboration, it helps its 50+ members translate circular economy principles into tangible business outcomes—from reducing risks through strong partnerships to strengthening market positioning.

At the same time, it responds to the evolving regulatory environment and supply chain pressures, enabling companies to prepare for new challenges and seize opportunities ahead of the competition.
